The Walking Dead Season 10, Episode 18 “Find Me” Review

This episode of The Walking Dead titled “Find Me” tells the story of what Daryl was doing for those five years while he was looking for any clues about Rick Grimes. I must say this. The opening between Daryl, Carol, and Dog is one of the best openings to any Walking Dead episodes I have seen within the last few years since “A New Beginning.” I thought it was charming, light-hearted, and warm to see them all in a care free spirit. Any fan of The Walking Dead will love that scene. 

But the nice mood stops here as Daryl is faced with the conflicting past once they go to the cabin. We learn here that Daryl lived with a woman named Leah a few years ago. It is told in flashbacks during the episode that spans five years. At first, Daryl is by himself doing anything that he can to search for Rick. Daryl goes through a lot as he tries to survive even during the worst of the weather that destroyed his map that got him really angry. 

Dog is also in these flashbacks and the original owner of Dog is Leah. In fact, Leah is the one that gave Dog the name “Dog” and I thought that Daryl was the one who named him. Leah’s backstory is that she was part of a group with her sister and her sister’s son. After she lost her sister, she adopted her son. And she eventually lost her son due to a walker bite and had him buried behind the cabin. 

I think that Leah was just thrown in for the sake of expanding Daryl’s five year journey. When they first met, she was about to kill him. And in due time, it becomes a will they/won’t they situation to be together. Daryl told Carol that he told her about Leah a while back, but Carol did not know the full story until now. This did upset Carol as she found more pieces to the puzzle such as a note Daryl left for Leah, and some of her belongings that she found. More on that in a few paragraphs.

I think that Lynn Collins did a great job portraying Leah. But I am not too invested with the new character yet. It is also implied that Leah had sex with Daryl and that their bond grew closer towards the end of “Find Me.” But unfortunately, Leah gives Daryl the ultimatum to be with her or not. She decided to not wait as she left Daryl. But it was not all about Leah and Daryl in these flashbacks as Daryl and Carol also meet up several times during that time. Carol was still with Ezekiel, and Henry was still alive during this time. She updates Daryl about Michonne, and what is going on with the communities. 

After all the flashbacks, things take a turn for the worst between Daryl and Carol. Daryl finally told Carol off about her reckless behavior while Carol told Daryl off about him trying to be a hero all the time. This was raw and emotional as real life couples or best friends argue like this from time to time. You can feel it when it comes out of their mouths and it is one of the most heartbreaking conversations in the history of The Walking Dead. Norman Reedus really pulled it off here. But at the same time, I feel that there was an unbalance during the argument as I wished that Carol would have had an equal amount of words to fire back at Daryl. Put it like this, Daryl had more time to let his frustrations out while Carol had little time to do the same. 

I really see the point across of Daryl finally letting his anger and frustrations out on Carol. That is because they have not talked about the backlog of issues ever since the cave incident. But I really wish that there was some balance in between the argument for the viewers to see both side of the point of view because Carol also needed to drop some truth to Daryl at the same level that he did. But overall, it is a great acted scene! 

Personally, I liked “Find Me” more than “Home Sweet Home” because the story on “Find Me” felt like it advanced the character development over “Home Sweet Home” as that episode was an episode to set up the mood for the next season. Also, I find it more believable now that Daryl stayed in that cabin for years over him being in that tent back in season 9 after the time skip. At that time, it was believed that he was there the whole time. These two episodes are really solid and I am looking forward to the next round of episodes.

Young Rock Season 1, Episode 3 “Forward Together” Review

This week’s “Young Rock” sees the debut of more big names in the wrestling universe. More specifically, Vince McMahon, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, and King Kong Bundy. There is more to unpack on this episode “Forward Together” than the debuts however.

The central story is Rocky Johnson seeking out for an action figure deal after he sees that Andre The Giant got a prototype of his figure. This all happens while he and Young Rock were planning the next autograph session. Towards the end of the session, a toy developer comes to Rocky’s table to pitch to him that he can make Rocky Johnson figures. You can tell that this person is shady due to his cowboy boots being the same color as UWF promoter Herb Abrams.

Now to Vince McMahon. Mark Taylor plays as Vince McMahon. It took me a few minutes to not think of the Vince McMahon character that I seen on television for years and to see this version of McMahon on a business side. While I did not sense or see the mannerisms and voice of Vince that Mark Taylor acted, He did good on the way Vince McMahon was in the early 1980’s when he was a boss than a character.

Kevin Makely as Macho Man did not work for me. He looked, talked, and acted like a cosplayer than me suspending my disbelief to believe that he could be Macho Man at that time period. Macho Man was a force to be reckoned with even outside of the ring.

Kevin Makely did not bring that larger than life persona of the WWE legend on the screen. I was really looking forward to seeing him as Macho Man. But it turned out to be the Nacho Man.

There are also great subplots on this episode of “Young Rock” that I did also like. Ata watching home movies with Sika and Lia. The barbecue where they all discussed the battle royal plans and discovering why King Kong Bundy and Junkyard Dog backed out the match. And Young Rock asking for an alcoholic beverage before Ata and Rocky joking with him that he cannot have it are bright spots.

The end of this episode is an ad for his presidential campaign and this was an odd choice to end an episode. Other than a few hiccups, I enjoyed it!

Michael James Shaw Will Play as The Walking Dead’s Mercer

The Walking Dead has finally found the actor to play as the head of security at The Commonwealth Mercer. That person that will be Mercer is Michael James Shaw.

Michael James Shaw is best known for his roles as FBI Agent Daryl in Limitless, and Aiden Shaw on Blood & Treasure. Most recently, Michael James Shaw appeared on the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame as Black Order member Corvus Glaive.

Mercer first appeared on The Walking Dead comic book series back in 2018 on issue #177. He is also on the cover of that issue and it is also an introduction to the character. From issue #177-#193, Mercer attempts an uprising against Pamela and The Commonwealth due to how things are operated over there. Mercer also has a number of verbal conflicts with Pamela’s son Sebastian during the time as well.

Mercer’s attempted uprising was stopped by Rick Grimes as Rick did not want a war against The Commonwealth. Outside of the uprising, Mercer develops a close relationship with The Princess and they eventually become a couple. On the last issue which was #193, Mercer and Princess are still together over 25 years later and they both have a dog that they both love.

It will be quite interesting to see how the television version of Mercer will be similar or different than his comic book counterpart. But I know for sure that fans of The Walking Dead are ready to see Mercer and The Princess team up to take down walkers!

Young Rock Season 1, Episode 2 “On The Road Again” Review

This week’s episode of “Young Rock” teaches the viewer a valuable lesson. That is, after the huge spotlight of a major star is over, they have to wrestle at smaller scale shows.

That is the focus for this episode of “Young Rock” as Dwayne Johnson told the story to the reporter about taking Karen on a date to a wrestling show. Teenage Rock wanted to do as much as he can to convince Karen to go out on a date with him. When she does, the most interesting aspect of professional wrestling is on full display.

“Young Rock” did not shy away from the reality of wrestling that the casual fan would never know. And Karen was exposed to this when she saw where the actual show took place. It was at a local carnival where there were less than fifteen people at the show. Even though Karen did not like the environment, Teenage Rock was also there to support Rocky Johnson and this shows that anyone should support their family and friends no matter how big or small the crowd is.

Fifteen people or not, what mattered most is that everyone left home happy. Not everyone did as Rocky Johnson was stiffed out of pay from the shady promoter. The promoter promised Rocky Johnson more money than what he paid him and they both had a conversation about that. Shady independent wrestling promoters are still like this to this day so I was not surprised to see this went down the way it did.

I also started to root for Teenage Rock when he punched the kid at the school hallway for poking fun at Rocky Johnson’s appearance at the independent show. Rock did this while also saying the same words Andre The Giant said to him when he was younger about the “F” word.

Also during this episode, Rocky Johnson had matches against Ric Flair and Roddy Piper that are told in flashbacks that I enjoyed.

Overall, I enjoyed “On The Road Again” far better than the pilot as it showed the trials that every professional wrestler has to go through. It affects them in each level no matter how big of a star they are, or was. Some may see this like a step down to the fans that idolizes the mega stars. But this should be a valuable lesson to every fan of wrestling once they see this episode. Professional wrestlers are normal people too and they have families to support.

Young Rock Season 1, Episode 1 “Working The Gimmick” Review

A biopic of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson sounds like it should be made into a feature film. But there is too much history of the professional wrestler turned actor to cover in ninety minutes. Which is why Young Rock works better as a series than a film.

Young Rock created by Dwayne Johnson and Nahnatchka Khan, tells the story of The Rock in three different decades as he grows up while his father Rocky Johnson (Joseph Lee Anderson) is a worldwide star in the wrestling industry.

The first episode titled “Working The Gimmick” sets the tone for what to expect for the rest of the season. Dwayne Johnson in the year 2032, is running for president. The TV Host that is interviewing Dwayne Johnson is portrayed by Randall Park as Dwayne explained his upbringing to the TV Host. The first story took place in 1982 as 10 year old Dwayne (Adrian Groulx) and his mother Ata Johnson (Stacey Leilua) witnessed Rocky Johnson defeating Afa Anoai at a wrestling event. Rocky was seen as a superstar in the viewers eyes. But outside of the ring, Rocky Johnson was a normal person that took care of his wife and son.

It is here where the viewers get a first look on the reality of the world of professional wrestling as the big stars have to keep a persona up whenever they are seen in public. Even if you have to stay at an old hotel for one night, that is how the business was that time.

The most comedic part of this portion of the episode, is when Young Rock sees Iron Shiek, Wild Samoans, Junkyard Dog, and Andre The Giant hanging out and playing cards with Rocky Johnson. I must say that the actors that portrayed the wrestlers were spot on with the mannerisms and how they acted and sounded like the real life wrestlers at that time. The amount of research and history that went to the production of this show is amazing and I give them credit for doing so.

Rocky was only supposed to be there for a few minutes, but he ended up going out with the rest of the boys even though he promised Young Rock a trip to the ice cream store. I also love the back and forth comedy between Young Rock and Andre The Giant after Rock making a comment about wrestling not being real.

Dwayne Johnson later told the story of his teenage self (Bradley Constant) in 1987 stealing from stores, his alias Tomas while he wanted to get Karen’s attention in high school, and even buying an old car that barely even worked. I believe here , is when he starts to get a sense of how much time Rocky Johnson has been on the road since he was doing an autograph signing the day that this happened. But he did not forget his mom Ata when Teenage Rock picked her up at the bus stop.

Teenage Rock hopes to give his mom Ata everything one day and Dwayne Johnson went on record numerous times on interviews that he was always close to Ata and that is really showcased here on the first episode. Towards the end of “Working The Gimmick”, Dwayne Johnson begins to go over the beginning of his college football run in 1990. Adult Rock (Uli Latukefu) meets the players and the coach of the team.

He finds out that Rocky Johnson was there earlier in the day to tell lies about Dwayne Johnson being on the cover of Wheaties cereal. It did slightly upset him, but he used what Rocky Johnson told him for years and that is, to work his gimmick wherever he is to let them make believe that you are who they say you are. He did this by also beating the record for the most reps at the gym and proceeded to do the eyebrow that he is known for to this day after he beat the challenge.

“Working The Gimmick” is a fun introduction to the series. A great key here, is that the timeline was not all over the place as it started with his 10 year old self and finished when he was in college. I hope that this structure continues for the rest of the series with more stories to be told. It also makes me think if Dwayne Johnson himself will actually run for president one day. An amazing start of “Young Rock” which is a must see series, and NBC hit a goldmine to tell Dwayne Johnson’s story!

The Walking Dead Season 10, Episode 17 “Home Sweet Home” Review

It has been a pretty long time since the last time The Walking Dead graced our screens on Sunday nights. But the wait is finally over. The Walking Dead returns on February 28th on AMC (February 21st on AMC+) and there is a ton to look forward to. I recently got the chance to watch the first two of six episodes of the extra episodes of season 10 and I will review one of them in this article. Be warned that there are spoilers ahead for these episodes of The Walking Dead.

10×17: Home Sweet Home

“Home Sweet Home” picks up right where “A Certain Doom” left off. The long awaited return of Maggie Rhee has been anticipated for a long time and she is the central focus on this episode. Her and Daryl even caught up as Maggie told Daryl everything that happened with her and Georgie over the last five years. We learn that Maggie and Georgie eventually went to Tennessee with a group to live there for a few years until their community was ambushed. They have been hunted down ever since and Maggie has not seen Georgie since the attack. I also started to feel for Maggie again when she talked to Daryl about Hershel Jr. asking her about Glenn and what happened to him.

I like that there was a big story for what lead to Maggie returning with her original family. There was no delay to it as Daryl wanted to know right away after the walker conflict. Maggie is not only joined by Elijah who debuted on “A Certain Doom”, she is also accompanied with Cole. Negan and Maggie with Hershel Jr. crossed paths at the beginning, and at the end of the episode. Their tension is really building for a big conversation between the two. It was quite fulfilling to see Negan at the end of the episode watching Maggie and Hershel Jr. enter Alexandria while he is still doing yard work as a prisoner over there compared to earlier in the episode when Negan had his badass jacket on talking to Maggie.

I am a Negan fan, but I felt it from Maggie when she seen him. The first thought that must of ran through Maggie’s head would be “who in the hell does this man think he is talking to me at this moment.” I do have a strong feeling that Maggie and Negan will have that scene within the next few episodes, or sometime in season 11. If there is one thing that you should know about The Walking Dead, it is that Maggie and Negan will never work together clearing walkers. Overall, Their encounter from their first meeting in years should have been a bigger deal than it was. But I am open to see the next time they have an encounter.

There is also a good amount of action on “Home Sweet Home” that I like, but also rolled my eyes on one of those scenes. The walker clearing in that enclosed area, and with The Reaper sniper. The Reapers is the group that Maggie mentioned that are hunting them down. They kidnapped Hershel Jr. during the episode and it is time for Maggie and everyone else to get him back. Now the battle with that sniper gave me flashbacks to The End boss battle from Metal Gear Solid 3, or Quiet from Metal Gear Solid 5.

He is unseen at first as he took out two members of the group and I liked where they were going with the battle as it really got me engaged to see what happens next. The battle becomes a full fledged fight once he reveals himself. But then my brain started to kick in when he killed himself with the grenade.

I watched too many war movies, and know first hand knowledge of grenades due to one of my family members serving in the army during the late 1980’s. Maggie, Daryl, Kelly, and everyone else were too close to the sniper when he exploded himself. One of the members of the group should have been part of that explosion in that range because how it happened on that episode, is just not realistic. It looked phony and ridiculous when I watched that happen.

There are some dialogue coming from the characters that I did like. Kelly and Elijah are relatable since they both lost their sisters (P.S Connie is alive) so they have something in common. Kelly also assured Elijah to not be scared facing the current threat. I did not expect to see Elijah unmask for that brief moment, but it added more context to how much he is scared on the inside compared to how much of a badass he is on the outside while masked. A small bit of Elijah is learned through the conversation Kelly and Maggie had towards the end of the episode. There is also a quick funny moment involving Daryl and another character that had me laughing as well.

“Home Sweet Home” is a decent episode as it laid the groundwork for the upcoming extra episodes, and for the next season. I do however feel that the structure of this episode is too outdated by The Walking Dead standards, but I believe that fans will be happy either way that the show is back on Sunday!

And finally, Hershel Jr. talks and he is adorable!

Also to note, the episodes were filmed on digital instead of film for the first time. My MacBook has 4K settings and I used it while I watched the two episodes and it looks crisp and sharp. The quality is amazing and I hope that the next two home releases of The Walking Dead seasons 10 and 11 will have an optional 4K feature for the episodes!

Fear The Walking Dead Return Date Announced

Fear The Walking Dead took a brief hiatus over the fall after their seventh episode. Enough time has gone by as fans are anxious for the return of Fear. The return of Fear The Walking Dead is coming shortly after the final episode of the tenth season of The Walking Dead.

AMC oficially announced that Fear The Walking Dead will return for the second half of the sixth season on April 11th. A trailer that was uploaded on The Walking Dead’s official account showcased the announcement.

It is also to note, that I reached out to AMC in early January for the status of the return of Fear The Walking Dead. A representative told me that Fear will return in April. But the exact date was not revealed at the time.

New cast members will also join the sixth season of Fear The Walking Dead. John Glover (The Good Wife, Smallville, Scrooged), Nick Stahl (Carnivale, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Sin City), and Keith Carradine (Madam Secretary, Fargo, Deadwood) will all make their debuts on this season.

The synopis of the second half is the following: As Morgan’s (Lennie James) bid to free the remaining members of the group becomes bolder, Virginia (Colby Minifie) grows increasingly desperate to find her sister and protect the settlements from forces working inside and outside her walls. The second half of Season Six reveals the impact of what living under Virginia’s control has done to each person in this group, who once saw themselves as a family. New alliances will be formed, relationships will be destroyed, and loyalties forever changed. When everyone is forced to take sides, they discover the meaning of, “The End is the Beginning.”’

Yu-Gi-Oh Card Artworks That Are Misleading

There is always something that meets the eye when it comes to artwork. When you take an close examination of the artwork, you will notice some things that you did not see the first time around. There are thousands of card artworks in the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise that’s are outstanding. These Yu-Gi-Oh card artworks stood out to me as they can be missed without a close inspection. Here are some Yu-Gi-Oh cards that have misleading artwork.

Decoy Dragon

Decoy Dragon’s name fits the artwork after you take a second look. This Yu-Gi-Oh card’s art is overlooked by many duelists that has this card in their deck. Your mind will be blown after I say this. The eyes on Decoy Dragon are actually the two small eyes at the end of the sides of it’s head and not the two large “eyes” on the front. It really lives up to the name and now you cannot unsee it!

Souleater

Souleater looks like a normal fish Yu-Gi-Oh monster with basic artwork. Take a look of everything around the fish. Do you notice anything?It is part of the full body of the actual monster.

It is crazy to think that this is the full model of Souleater. Many would wonder which is actually the “Souleater” between the large monster, or the fish itself It is kind of an out of body experience in this sense.

Abyss Dweller

The first time anyone takes a look at Abyss Dweller, the viewer would think that it is just a cave. look very closely on the left, it is a big dragon. The dragon blends in very well in the cave and it can give onlookers a nightmare if they were to see that in real life.

Red Eyes Black Flare Dragon

The Red Eyes Yu-Gi-Oh archetype has a ton of popular cards. Red Eyes Black Flare Dragon has a small detail that I almost missed. Red Eyes Black Flare Dragon has two more eyes under it’s jaw. This is very surprising and unique as the eyes look like it is part of the background. I could not blame anyone that missed that detail the first time around.

Review: Wonder Woman 1984 Is The DCEU’s ‘The Rise of Skywalker’

2017’s Wonder Woman is in my top three of my favorite films in the DCEU. The acting from Gal Gadot, and the action and storytelling made that film stand out after the poor reception of the last few DCEU films at that point. I was looking forward to the sequel Wonder Woman 1984 especially since Patti Jenkins directed the first film. But my anticipation soon turned into disappointment.

Wonder Woman 1984 should have been a great movie. On paper, the idea of the film taking place during that year with a mix of 80’s cliches, comedy, and action with a good superhero story is great. But the execution is bad. The first twenty minutes made zero sense. Is there a point of showing us the younger version of Wonder Woman competing in the games for her to be screwed out of the game when it added nothing to the movie? I was puzzled by that and I thought about that for the entire movie.

Can we also talk about why Wonder Woman 1984 needed to take place that year? There was literally no plot-related reason for the movie to be set in the 80s at all. Terrorists? Oil Barrons? Snake Oil Scammer? Wishing stone? The entire movie could have been set in 2019 and it would have made no difference to the plot whatsoever. Talk about a wasted opportunity. X-Men did a better job with the 60s, 70s and 80s than WW84 did. And this is something I have to nitpick with every movie and television series that takes place in the 1980s and that is, not everyone was dressed like they were auditioning for an MTV music video.

There were a ton of plot holes that opened the floodgates of endless questions on Wonder Woman 1984. How does Steve Trevor know how to pilot that jet model? Where was Maxwell Lord when he found out about the stone? How does Maxwell talking into the camera gives him the ability to grant wishes worldwide? Along with some of the inconsistencies with some of the products that were in the film that were released after 1984? Sorry, but historical accuracy matters to me. These decisions will never be expanded on in the future.

Gal Gadot is perfect for the role as Wonder Woman. But on Wonder Woman 1984, I did not feel the aura and presence of the Wonder Woman character at all. I believe that is because she is much toned down and grounded on Wonder Woman 1984. But there are some good scenes that I did like including the big brawl at the White House.

Kristen Wiig as Cheetah/Barbara Minerva is a good casting choice. But just like Suicide Squad’s Joker, we did not get much out of the Cheetah character. The fight between Cheetah and Wonder Woman gave me flashbacks to the Daryl and Negan vs. Beta fight on The Walking Dead. It should have been a big climactic fight, but it ended up being over before it started with rope physics that are laughable compared to the physics on The Last of Us Part II. And there is something very off about the horrible CGI in most of the film. Wonder Woman 1984 was delayed a few times and they could not even make the CGI better in that time?

Maxwell Lord is a great character in the comics. But here, Maxwell is too cartoonish and not a believable threat. When he appeared on the television granting wishes, I wanted to wish that his character would be dead. In fact, I find it strange that nobody actually wished for that. However, I loved that they gave him a reason to be good again, like yes it’s hamfisted but it works so well. Everyone can relate to a guy who wants to be number one and give his son the world but he takes it to far and realizes it and fixes it. There are some things that I like about Maxwell, but as a villain, I could not buy into him.

Wonder Woman 1984’s final scene is at Christmas. Think about that for a second. The film started in the summer. Then it led to July 4th where the invisible jet could not be detected during the fireworks for some reason, and finished at December. Can I also add that Barbara told the homeless guy to stay warm in the hot summer night? Where are we? Could they not keep track of their own timespan? I have been to Washington, D.C at the summer weather and it is as hot as New York.

Wonder Woman 1984 is a massive disappointment and I did not need to be tied up to her lasso to tell that truth. What set the stone for a badass Wonder Woman on the first film, is not to be found anywhere on the sequel. I wanted to like Wonder Woman 1984, but the script, the awful pacing, and the bad CGI turned me away. Ladies and gentleman, Wonder Woman 1984 is “The Rise of Skywalker” of the DCEU films and I will stand by it.

Michonne’s Best and Most Memorable Moments on The Walking Dead

Michonne of The Walking Dead is a fan favorite of the series. The kantana wielder has slashed her way through walkers into the hearts of the fanbase for close to a decade. On her time on The Walking Dead, Michonne had several memorable moments that will never be forgotten. Whether if it is her leadership, or raising Judith and RJ, or even helping the communities take out the fire in the forest, Michonne is everything that The Walking Dead stands for.

Today, I am going to revisit Michonne’s most memorable moments. The selected moments are based on the impact they had on the show, and with the fans as well. Danai Gurira has been phenominal as Michonne and she is missed within the fan community.

Putting Down Penny

Michonne’s brutal fight with The Governor was building up on the first half of the third season. Before that fight took place, The Governor found Michonne in his room of walker heads, and his daughter Penny who is zombified. This lead to one of the most visually striking walker kills at the time as Michonne struck Penny through her back to take her down right infront of The Governor. Everything about this, is awesome.

Richonne Becomes Official

I will have to admit, I did not think that Rick Grimes and Michonne would ever become a couple. But that happened back in season 6 after the walker invasion at Alexandria. Their relationship set the foundation for the Grimes family to have a future in this world. Their relationship not only featured sleeptime, a carnival with a CGI deer, and killing walkers along the way. It also showcased how they both challenged eachother strengths and weaknesses on each level. Even Negan’s reign of terror did not break up their love. Plus RJ Grimes is an added bonus! Michonne became a well-rounded leaded during, and after their relationship.

Her Debut

Michonne making her debut on The Walking Dead at the end of the second season was a surprise to me at the time. That is because I really thought that her character debut would be at the prison like it was in the comic book series. But this worked on so many levels as it got me excited to see her on the third season. Her debut is a memorable one, and it set the tone of the new surprises that were coming.

Even though this scene foreshadowed the doom that was coming, The Grimes Family spending the day together like this without the worry of walkers is a nice scene. The visual of the swarm of crows flying around like this is something I appreciate what the directors were going with. I was really happy to see them all together like this during the opening of season 9.

Slicing off the Walkers

By now, we seen Michonne take down walkers without caution. But back on season 4 after the fall of The Prison, this sequence really stands out. What The Walking Dead knows how to do, is to bring out emotions of characters in ways that the viewer could sympathize with them. This happened this way as I felt everything that Michonne felt while she was taking down those walkers. The feeling of sad and lonelyness is all displayed here without Michonne ever saying a word.

Punching Rick Grimes Back to his Senses

Michonne had to do this to Rick. Just like any couple would in this situation (Not with their hands, but with words). Although Rick Grimes’ was right at the time of what he said about everyone at Alexandria, he needed that cooldown. Good thing that she was there at the moment because who knows what would have happened if she was not there.

Cheese Wiz With Carl Grimes

Michonne and Carl Grimes had a unique chemistry. Their scenes together is an example of comedy on The Walking Dead done right in a situation that is believable. Michonne cheered up Carl Grimes by spraying Cheese Wiz into her mouth while also acting like a walker. This got Carl to smile and crack up laughing. A genuine bond that is also missed are these two. I still feel sad when I see Carl’s last conversation with her.
