The one toy everyone is talking about but no one in the US will (more than likely) never be able to get, unless you have friends overseas.
This classic figure may look like a simple repaint of MP-20 Wheeljack.
But, with a new head sculpt, some other tooling and paint apps, this figure has become something else entirely.
He isn’t simply just a silly repaint, his roots exist in the realm of Diaclone.
Just like his counterpart, Lancia Stratos (Wheeljack) are both pre-Transformers lore.
The Marlboro logo on the car isn’t simply copyright infringement, it’s based on the actual racing car it’s designed after.
Sites like Robot Kingdom have put up disclaimers like this stating Takara Transformers Masterpiece MP-23 Decepticon Exhaust:”This item was claimed by Phillip Morris USA, that infringe PM USA’s MARLBORO Roof Design.”
So that means here in the US, Marlboro would sue if this toy is sold here. Thus, instantly making this toy rare in The States and more valuable and, in the long run, will become overly priced on eBay.
