Isabella David had to drop from the re-shoot of Loan Application. so as of right now we have put a hold on the film to we can recast the part.
I love making movies so much! but the editing part is such a long and Augurous (I hope I spelled that right) process. This doesn’t mean that I shun or hate the process, on the contrary without the editing process there would be no film! It’s just the long hours of checking every single piece of film. we used 4 cameras to capture every single drop of acting those poor actors bleed for us. so for every shot i have 4 took look at. which is great but long ……. we spent 8 hours last Sunday and finished about 10 minutes of film ………10 minutes!
but them ten minutes are perfect . this Saturday I am re-filming Loan Application with two of the best Indie Actors on the planet, Isabella David and Franco Santoro. I wrote some new scenes for them to help me not just re-film but to re-in vision the whole story make it more complete and also to give these Top Actors some more film time.
well I hope this film works out well cause they drip with Acting chops. it comes so natural to them I really hope that I can live up to my end of the deal and make the film look hot!
One of the most talented actors we have ever worked with just had a principal role in this film which stars, Alec Baldwin,Cynthia Nixon, Kieran Culkin. the story is set in a late ’70s Long Island, the coming-of-age story follows two families who fall apart when precarious relationships, real estate problems and Lyme disease converge in the heart of suburbia.

Sometimes you work on a project that you feel so strongly about that when people tell you that they didn’t like it you almost fall apart. This is the case with Loan Application, instead of just trashing the project I asked people the reason why they didn’t like it. Everyone with an astounding and resounding voice said it was the lead actor. Not the script, not the filming, and not the editing. They fell out of the story because of our lead actor, and to his credit he did his best but unfortunately it wasn’t good enough.
So after a long and hard decision I have decided to re-shoot Loan Application, after we finish the final cut of Poker Face. We should be shooting Loan 2.0 in the early part of April.

Franco Santoro as the lead
we will be looking for the female lead soon!
